Hanover High School is looking for a dynamic person to join the math department for the second semester of the 2024-25 school year. HHS is committed to providing quality education by caring and engaging teachers. This position requires certification in NH for secondary math education. The courses to be taught are primarily Precalculus and Geometry. Both courses have another teacher to team with for lesson planning. The position starts on January 13, 2025 and will go until June 13, 2025. Position will be open until filled. 

 

This position is governed by the HEA Union Agreement.

General Purpose:

The classroom teacher is responsible for the education of each pupil in his/her charge and for working with students, parents, other teachers, and staff toward achieving the goals set forth by the district.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledge of child and adolescent development

Knowledge of testing instruments and their application to the academic setting

Knowledge of research based instructional interventions

Ability to collaborate with professionals, parents, and community

Awareness of applicable state Administrative Rules and Regulations
