The Ray School seeks to hire two elementary teachers to begin in the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidates will be collaborative professionals, effective communicators, demonstrate flexibility, have strong relationship building skills, and have experience providing quality, data-driven instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

 

The Ray School is a vibrant K-5 school in Hanover, New Hampshire, and is part of SAU 70. We seek a teacher who will work collaboratively to grow an elementary program and class environment favorable to learning and student growth. The teacher will work to establish effective rapport with students, to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education in accordance with each student’s ability, and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members.

General Purpose:

The classroom teacher is responsible for the education of each pupil in his/her charge and for working with students, parents, other teachers, and staff toward achieving the goals set forth by the district.
