The Ray School is looking for an Academic Support Interventionist to start in September of 2024 for the 2024-25 school year. The interventionist will work with small groups of students on targeted skills in reading, writing, and math. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position:
- Provide academic support and study skills intervention to support the individual student.
- Teach and model active learning and study strategies
- Consult with teachers, counselors, administration, parents
- Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with students
- Keep accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Must comply with all SAU 70 District policy and building / department rules, procedures, practices and objectives.
